Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using this website as they affect your rights and liabilities under law. By using this website or making a purchase either electronically via this website, or by phone, e-mail or in person, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Order & Delivery Information

We have taken great care to set up this site on a secure server, so you can send us your payment details in complete confidence. If, however, you would prefer to order over the telephone, by fax or by e-mail, please call our order line on 07727 713928 or e-mail to catharine@starseedbaby.co.uk with the details of the items you would like to order and your contact details.

Price & Description

The price payable for Goods that you order are as set out in our website. The prices payable for goods include delivery charges. Prices are subject to change without notice. Prices are inclusive of UK VAT where applicable. We have made all reasonable efforts to accurately display the sizes, colours, shapes and patterns of the goods for sale on our website. You acknowledge and accept however that sizes, colours, shapes and patterns shown on the website are approximate only. Colours in particular may differ due to your own computer visual settings and hardware.

Postage Rates

Our delivery partners are Royal Mail and Parcelforce within the UK. Postage, packing and returns are all free at StarSeed Baby because we are passionate about making your buying experience a simple one and we also want to demonstrate the belief we have in our products. We cannot deliver to a PO Box address and also reserve the right not to deliver orders if I believe the address is not secure. All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and where appropriate are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT). The current standard UK VAT rate is 17.5%. For deliveries outside of the UK please contact us.

Methods of payment

At StarSeed Baby we accept the following payment methods for orders. - Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard), Debit Cards (Switch/Maestro/Solo). Your card is charged when you place an order via paypal.

Out of stock (back order items)

With a few items I may experience longer delivery times if stock deliveries are delayed into my warehouse. In these cases I will contact you with the expected date of delivery. If you would like to purchase an item on back-order please purchase as normal and payment will be taken on order.

Pre-Ordering goods

You may also pre-order products that are due in stock although I cannot guarantee the availability until notified by my suppliers. An expected delivery date will be given on my website and I will inform you should any circumstances change. Payment for pre-orders is taken on order.

Direct despatch items

Most items are dispatched from my warehouse within 72 hours after the order has been placed but some larger items may be delivered to you directly from one of my suppliers or distributors. Payment for the goods will be taken once ordered, and not when it leaves the suppliers.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns are free. Please contact me either by telephone 07727 713928 or e-mail catharine@starseedbaby.co.uk if you wish to return or exchange an item within 21 days of receipt. All items must be returned in the same condition they were received in and in their original packaging. All purchases made through my website or from my showroom must be returned to my Head Office address: StarSeed Baby 1 Stoyle House 7 South Street Totnes Devon TQ9 5DZ Please obtain a 'proof of posting' certificate and insurance if appropriate from your Post Office or delivery agent when returning products as I cannot be held responsible for parcels lost in transit on their return to me.

Your right to cancel

You have the right to cancel the order up to the point at which the goods are dispatched by me. Should you cancel your order before dispatch I will refund in full the amount forwarded by you within 21 days of the order being cancelled. Credit card charges will be refunded on the same credit card only. My acceptance of an order does not take place until dispatch of the order, at which point a purchase contract will be made. Once You have notified me that you are cancelling your order, any sum debited to us from your credit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and, in the event that the Goods have been dispatched, within 21 days of your cancellation notice PROVIDED THAT the goods in question are returned by you and received by me in the condition they were in when delivered to you and in their original packaging.

Intellectual property rights

All materials, including images, illustrations, designs, site layout, photographs, written and other text or script that are part of this site together with all software compilations, underlying source code and software in the site are protected by copyright, trade mark, design right and/or other worldwide intellectual property rights and are owned or controlled by or licensed to StarSeed Baby. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it, in part or in whole, other than for your own lawful, personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without the prior permission of StarSeed Baby. You may not reproduce, publish, transmit, publicly perform, distribute, display, modify, adapt, bundle, alter, create derivative works of the site, sell or participate in any sale of or exploit in any way, any of the contents, the site, or any related software in whole or in part without our express prior written permission.

Links to Third Parties

We may provide links to third parties that we believe may be of interest to you. We do not control nor vet these websites, and therefore we cannot accept liability in respect of either the contents or your use of these websites.

No warranties or liability

To the extent permitted by law, StarSeed Baby gives no warranties in relation to the website, in particular with limitation, any warranties regarding the accuracy of descriptions and illustrations of items in the website or in our catalogue or other IP infringement and freedom from viruses. We do our best to keep our site up to date but cannot guarantee that the site and its contents are completely free of technical errors, viruses or anything else that may have a harmful effect on your computer or any technology. StarSeed Baby will also do its best to allow you uninterrupted access to the site 24 hours per day, but access may be suspended, restricted or terminated at any time. By using the site, you acknowledge that you assume full responsibility for all costs associated with any necessary servicing or repairs of any equipment that you use in connection with StarSeed Baby's site. Of course, this statement does not affect your statutory rights as a customer. To the extent permitted by law, StarSeed Baby will have no liability to you in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for any loss (including loss of profit), cost or damage (whether indirect, consequential, or otherwise) suffered as a result of your use of the website or from use of information passed through the website. Additionally, we shall also not be liable to you for a breach of these terms and conditions or a failure to perform if the delay or failure is due to a cause beyond our reasonable control. StarSeed Baby's total liability for any claim howsoever arising shall not exceed the price paid for the goods supplied by StarSeed Baby to the customer, together with any postage costs incurred. We do not however exclude or limit our liability in respect of death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. You must use the site for lawful purposes only. By registering with us you recognise that you are responsible for all access made to the site using the log in details that you provide us with. As with all passwords and usernames, it is important that you keep them confidential at all times. If any part of these terms and conditions is unlawful, void or for any other reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be cut out of the terms and conditions and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any of the remaining provisions. Also, if we fail to enforce a right under these terms and conditions, it does not mean that we do not have the right to enforce other rights, or the same type of right at a later stage. No part of these terms and conditions are enforceable by anyone who is not a party to them in accordance with the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
